Feeling the January blues, I decided to illustrate a quote about flowers to bring some warmth and cheer. Henri Matisse's quote stood out to me as expressive, positive, and comforting. I used bright, vibrant colours for the flowers and combined soft yet bold typography. It was my first time using several fonts in one design, I struck a good balance between bubbly, bold, and expressive styles.
