The Challenge
I worked on designing a wellness app that
smoothly guides users from the home screen to complete a meditation session. The main goal was to get hands-on experience with layout design and prototyping in Figma.
The Process
I decided to develop a meditation app tailored specifically for the LGBTQ2S+ community, naming it Qwell (Queer Wellness). The concept focuses on creating a safe and supportive space for LGBTQ2S+ individuals interested in mindfulness, with content curated and operated by queer creators.
I chose a dark mode colour scheme accented with pops of teal which
is a reference to queer history and the use of colours as communication.
The goal for this prototype was to seamlessly guide users from the home screen to a meditation session titled "Midday Breath Boost."
